Marc Tetro becomes the first North American
artist to sign a third party licensing deal with the Walt Disney
Company.

Marc Tetro and Disney's Jim Rayburn in the
artist's studio. Disney will become the licensing agent for all
consumer products bearing Tetro's images. "We're please to
have marc as part of the Disney magic" says Rayburn."Disney's
had a long tradition of discovering great talent".

Disney's 101 Dalmatians are redrawn by Marc Tetro
in a picture book commissioned by Disney Press. It is released
in conjunction with the live action movie staring Glenn Close.
"His drawings of dogs are so simple but have so much
expression" says editor Howard Reeves.

Big Puppies in a Basket is donated to the Winnipeg
Children's Hospital where it is on permanent display. The
72"x96" painting was a gift from the artist in recognition
of the need to make kids' time in the hospital a little brighter.
